118 young soldiers join Ladakh Scouts regiment of the Indian Army

Emotional scenes were witnessed when 118 youth from different parts of Ladakh region joined the Indian Army family after completing strenuous training and participating in the Passing-out-Parade.

It was a joyous moment for parents and family members of proud youth, who become members of Ladakh Scouts Regiment after participating in the parade at a glittering parade at the Ladakh Scouts Regimental Centre in Leh.

Defence Ministry spokesperson Colonel Rajesh Kalia on Sunday said that the ceremony was conducted in consonance with the highest traditions of the Indian Army and was reviewed by Lieutenant General SK Upadhya, GOC, Fire and Fury Corps as the Chief Guest.
