“I complement 58 GTC for the excellent training and immaculate demonstration of military drill. I also congratulate the proud parents for successful graduation of their sons into military service,” Maj Gen Joneja told the gathering.

A Sengja youth from Nepal, Bikash Saru, also received the Dutta Trophy for standing overall second in merit. The parents of the two winners were also awarded Gaurav Padaks in recognition of their roles and contribution to the nation.
